The concept of the campaign, created on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, is based on the fact that very often even simple phrases or attitudes from everyday life contain episodes of violence that are not visible or leave no external signs but which, instead, must not to be underestimated. This concept is clearly expressed by the campaign claim "Segna. Anche se non si vede" that stands in front of the picture.

"Segna. Anche se non si vede" is the slogan of a social campaign against violence against women created for "Casa di Accoglienza delle Donne Maltrattate di Milano" (CADMI) on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The concept of the campaign is based on the fact that very often even simple phrases or attitudes from everyday life contain episodes of violence that are not visible or leave no external signs but which instead are not to be underestimated. For this reason, the visual is composed of a large close-up of female faces that don't reveal any emotion but that attract the viewer's gaze precisely because of their being neutral.
